Best Bets in Wimbledon Tennis 2023 Predictions- The Bet Club

Welcome to The Bet Club and our special Wimbledon Tennis 2023 Men’s and Women’s Singles Preview and Best Bets in sports analysis.

Novak Djokovic is on his way to completing the calendar-year Grand Slam, having already secured victories at the Australian Open and the French Open. As he arrives at Wimbledon, the 36-year-old Serbian has an impressive record of winning four consecutive titles at the prestigious tournament. Despite being ranked #2 in the world behind Carlos Alcaraz, Djokovic remains the overwhelming favorite.

Wimbledon 2023 Men’s Singles Preview and Best Tennis Bets:

Let’s take a closer look at the odds and my best bets for the Wimbledon men’s singles:

Wimbledon Men’s Singles Tennis Odds:

  • Novak Djokovic: -160
  • Carlos Alcaraz: +350
  • Jannik Sinner: +2000
  • Daniil Medvedev: +2500
  • Alexander Zverev: +3500
  • Sebastian Korda: +3500
  • Nick Kyrgios: +4000
  • Holger Rune: +4000
  • Taylor Fritz: +4000
  • Alex de Minaur: +6500
  • Andy Murray: +6500

Tennis Pick: 3-Star Value Play: Carlos Alcaraz (+350)

Although Alcaraz faces a challenging draw in the top half of the bracket, there are currently only two dominant players in the men’s game, and Djokovic lacks value at -160. Therefore, my bet goes to Alcaraz, who may not be at his best on grass but possesses exceptional skills that transcend playing surfaces. The 20-year-old Spaniard recently won his first-ever grass-court tournament (Queen’s Club), demonstrating his adaptability. As long as Alcaraz is in good physical condition, he has a chance to excel in any match.

Tennis Pick: 2-Star Value Play: Daniil Medvedev (+2500)

Medvedev enjoys a favorable draw in the tournament. As the world #3, he also finds himself in the challenging top half of the bracket, but Alcaraz’s quarter is tougher than Medvedev’s. While grass may not be Medvedev’s preferred surface, his overall skill set enables him to perform well regardless. The 27-year-old Russian is a major champion (defeating Djokovic in the 2021 U.S. Open final) and has reached the runner-up position at three other Grand Slam events. There’s no reason why he can’t make another deep run, this time in London.

Tennis Pick: 1-Star Value Play: Jannik Sinner (+2000)

Despite concerns about Sinner’s occasionally questionable physical condition, I can’t resist betting on him with odds of +2500 and a favorable draw. At only 21 years old, the Italian has already reached the quarterfinals at all four Grand Slam tournaments, including Wimbledon last year, where he held a 2-sets-to-love lead over Djokovic before falling short. With an impressive 32-10 record this season, propelling him to #8 in the rankings, Sinner is among the best players in the world when he’s healthy. On grass, he arguably ranks as the second-best player behind Djokovic.

Wimbledon 2023 Women’s Singles Preview and Best Tennis Bets:

Wimbledon presents an exciting opportunity for the women’s singles competition, where the field appears to be wide open. Reigning French Open champion and world #1 Iga Swiatek enters as the favorite, but she faces strong challenges from defending champion Elena Rybakina and world #2 Aryna Sabalenka.

Let’s examine the odds and my picks for the Wimbledon women’s singles:

Wimbledon 2023 Women’s Singles Best Tennis Bet and odds:

  • Iga Swiatek: +310
  • Elena Rybakina: +550
  • Aryna Sabalenka: +600
  • Petra Kvitova: +1300
  • Coco Gauff: +1600
  • Ons Jabeur: +1700
  • Karolina Muchova: +2000
  • Donna Vekic: +2500
  • Barbora Krejcikova: +2800
  • Madison Keys: +3500
  • Veronika Kudermetova: +3500
  • Jelena Ostapenko: +3500
  • Mirra Andreeva: +5000
  • Ekaterina Alexandrova: +5000

Tennis Pick: 3-Star Value Play: Aryna Sabalenka (+600)

Even without considering the odds, Sabalenka is my top pick to win the tournament. Therefore, I happily back her as the third favorite at +600. The Belarusian arrives at Wimbledon for the first time since 2021, having been banned along with other players from her country and Russia in 2022. Sabalenka already holds a Grand Slam title this season, having triumphed at the Australian Open. Grass suits her game even better than hard courts, as she boasts an incredible serve and is one of the most powerful hitters on the WTA Tour. Facing Sabalenka on the grass of the All-England Club is a daunting prospect. After reaching the semifinals in 2021, she is determined to go all the way this time.

Tennis Pick: 2-Star Value Play: Petra Kvitova (+1300)

Both Sabalenka and Kvitova face a tough bottom half of the draw, but they are more than capable of overcoming strong competition. Kvitova, a two-time Wimbledon champion (2011 and 2014), may be slightly past her prime at 33 years old, but her winning potential remains. She recently claimed a significant title at the Miami Open earlier this season, showing her ability to excel on hard courts. On grass, Kvitova’s game reaches its peak. She prepared for Wimbledon by winning the grass-court event in Berlin, setting herself up for another deep run in London.

Tennis Pick: 1-Star Value Play: Veronika Kudermetova (+3500)

With the top half of the bracket lacking quality outside of Swiatek, it’s worth considering a longshot from that section. The standout choice is Kudermetova, who has already demonstrated her grass-court prowess this summer with a runner-up finish in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and an upset victory over Sabalenka in Berlin. The 26-year-old Russian has a favorable draw at the All-England Club, potentially avoiding Swiatek until the semifinals and facing tough opponents in the final. Given her position and long odds, Kudermetova offers an enticing betting opportunity.
