Best NBA Parlay Picks for 04-16-2023 Tonight

BNB Bet Club NBA best Picks and Parlay Report for tonight 04-16-2023: Today’s NBA schedule features two critical matchups that will determine the final playoff seeds in both the Eastern and Western Conferences. The battle for the #8 seed in the East tips off at 7:30 pm ET on TNT, as the Chicago Bulls take on the Miami Heat. Later, at 10:00 pm ET on ESPN, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game that will determine the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs. Here are our NBA picks for today’s matchups.

NBA Pick: MIA Heat vs MIL Bucks · Point Spread MIL Bucks -9.0

The Milwaukee Bucks, the best team in the league, will open their first round at home against the Miami Heat, who defeated the Chicago Bulls for the final spot in the playoffs on Friday. The regular-season series between these two teams was tied 2-2. However, in the Heat’s two wins, the Bucks did not have MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has averaged 31 points per game while grabbing close to 12 rebounds per game this season.

The Heat are coming off a grueling win and now have to go on the road to face a well-rested Bucks team that is looking to get back to their 2021 run to win the championship. In the last two meetings between the Bucks and Heat, the Bucks scored 123 and 128 points. The Heat have a tendency of allowing teams to score, especially the 3-pointers, as they ranked in the bottom 10 in opponent field-goal percentage, 3-point percentage, and bottom 3 in 3-pointers made.

The Bucks were top 10 in points per game and 3-point percentage, plus top 5 in 3 points made during the regular season. Simply put, they are a threat offensively, and with their size, they should dominate the Heat – who are very inconsistent on the offensive end. Therefore, it is advisable to lay the points with the Bucks. Bucks -9 is available at the time of publishing and is playable at that number.

NBA Pick: LA Clippers vs PHX Suns · Point Spread PHX Suns -7.0

As we get closer and closer to the start of this series, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that Paul George will participate in it. We finally got an update from the Clippers, and George is still undergoing treatment for his sprained knee, and there is no return date at the moment. Heading into a series like this, that’s not the news you want to hear if you’re a Clippers fan. It will be up to Kawhi Leonard and co. to pick up the slack, and head coach Ty Lue has the 3rd most productive bench in the league producing an average of 41.5 points per game.

LA and Phoenix split the 4 meetings during the regular season, but circumstances have varied each game, and this is a completely new series. All eyes will be on the Suns this Sunday as they start their postseason campaign as the number one team to win it all, according to most oddsmakers. They finished the regular season with 7 wins in 9 games and a 6-1 SU run in their last 7 at Footprint Center. Kevin Durant is still undefeated in a Suns uniform, going 8-0 since his arrival. In fact, he hasn’t lost a game since January 4th, when he was still with the Nets. The Durant and Booker pairing looks like a dream duo so far, but this team is still relatively new. One advantage they’ll have ahead of the series opener is health, as all of their top players are ready to go here.

The series is expected to go at least 6 games, if not 7. However, at 28-13 SU at home, the Suns are expected to win Game 1. Durant has looked flawless so far, and until they lose a game, it’s better to keep backing Phoenix to cover. Therefore, it is recommended to take the Suns -7.

NBA Pick: MIN Timberwolves vs DEN Nuggets · Game Totals Over 224.5

The final game of the night features the Minnesota Timberwolves facing off against the Denver Nuggets. This game could have significant implications for the Western Conference playoff race, as both teams are currently jostling for position in the standings.

The Nuggets come into this game as the favorites, but the Timberwolves have been playing some of their best basketball of the season lately. With Karl-Anthony Towns leading the way, the Wolves have been a dangerous offensive team and have the ability to put up points in a hurry.

On the other side, the Nuggets are led by MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, who has been absolutely dominant all season long. Jokic is a matchup nightmare for any team, and the Wolves will have their hands full trying to contain him.

Given the offensive firepower on both sides, it’s no surprise that the over/under for this game is set at a relatively high 224.5 points. However, recent history suggests that this could be a shootout. The two teams have faced off four times this season, and three of those games have gone over the total points line.

With that in mind, we’re leaning towards taking the over in this game. Both teams have plenty of scoring options and should be able to put up points in bunches. Look for a high-scoring affair as these two teams battle it out for crucial playoff positioning.
